He immediately
rules out April because he says she would have told him. However, April is acting strange and hiding
something from Andy. After finding out
Ann isn’t pregnant, they team up to find out who is pregnant. After interrupting and asking the potential
mothers if they are pregnant in the most awkward situation, for example, during
a town hall meeting, they figure it can be the only person they haven’t asked,
April.
While Ann and
Andy’s wild goose hunt is going on, Leslie is dealing with the backlash of her
first year in office. At the town hall
meeting, where Leslie ask the citizens of Pawnee if they are better off than
they were last year, she receives criticism for her previous decisions. Led by Sweetums representative, Kathryn
Pinewood, who is still mad about Leslie regulating soda sizes, other citizens
complain about Leslie’s past decisions in the last year, including requiring
the sanitation department to hire women and senior sex education. Her only support is when she accidentally
supported a porn movie shop, which causes disdain from the conservative Pawnee
citizens.
At the Founders’
Day Parade, opponents of Leslie make up a float mocking her with an enormous
nagging Leslie. Her opponents ask to
recall her from the seat. Instead of
being upset by it, with the support of Ben, she brings on the challenge and
focuses on her government work.
While we’ll have
to wait until next season to see if Leslie will be recalled, we also will have
to find out who is opening a competitor to Tom’s Rent-A-Swag after he won’t sell
his business (Spoiler alert, it is not Diddy). We do, however, find out who is
pregnancy test it was in this episode.
After confronting April, she admits that she got in to veterinarian
school in Bloomington, IN. Andy supports
her. The episodes ends however with
Ron’s girlfriend running in saying she has something she needs to talk about to
Ron, leading viewers to think that Ron is about to be a father.
