The Weeknd Road To Release
Note: If videos are unavailable, click link here
Unlike previous Road To Releases where viewers feel like they are a fly on the wall during studio sessions, The Weeknd's Road To Release is more of a documentary. Throughout the documentary, the camera is literally following The Weeknd around instead of just being placed in one spot, so much so that you hear the wind hitting the camera. As a companion on The Weeknd's journey you are apart of very intimate moments, especially after he reveals that he hadn't been out of Toronto very much and had never been on a plane until after House of Balloons was released. You see him out of his shell in foregin lands and although he is very respectful of the customs and fully engages himself in the experience, he is very gentle, and if one false move will wake him up from the dream that is his life.
This Road To Release was also written, directed and produced by The Weeknd. As you see in the documentary, he has a heavy hand in everything he does.

[Music Video] The Weeknd feat. Drake - Live For
Visual from the 4th single off Kiss Land, "Live For." While this song mostly refers to their tour lifestyle and fame, listeners can apply this to their own lives.
And you, have to, do it all
Just to know where it gets you
It is important to live and have experiences, while remembering who has your back.

[Video] The Weekend Tour Kiss Land Tour Set Design
The set goes with the Asian theme that he has been having for this album. Its a mix of an Asian downtown metropolis with an urban R&B vibe. It also is a pit sci-fi for me. I saw him at Terminal 5 last year in New York, great show. Can't wait to see this one.

The Weeknd - Kiss Land Album Cover and Release Date
September 10th, 2013
First time he was on the cover, guess that aversion to putting himself on the cover of things, which he discussed with Complex magazine in his first interview, is over.
