Wiz Khalifa "Black and Yellow" [Music Video] "In The Cut" "Never Been"

I'm really liking Wiz Khalifa right now, even though it seems like are lifestyles are completely different. I don't really drink, I hate orange juice, and I don't smoke at all, but it seems that he's life consists of those things, but it seems like he's having a great time doing it. I view his music videos for Kush and Orange Juice as a documentary of his life, which seems to be mostly parties, smoking, and chilling with his friends.  Although I can't relate to the experiences he has in his music, I listen to Kush and Orange Juice often because its just fun music to chill too.  The raps and production are also well constructed, and we all know I love a good harmony between the beat and the lyrics.  I also like the new single "Black and Yellow" from his upcoming album.  It just gets me hype and make me want to do "hood rat stuff with my friends" or just having a good time in general.

It was hard to pick a top 10 because summer basically started end of April and I tend to hop from song to song a lot, but these are the ones that came to mind quickly, in no particular order.  Thank Me Later was definitely the soundtrack to my summer, even though my relationship to that album is strange.  Its like I grow to love it more everyday, but it was still somewhat of a disappointment.  LOL I think this was the reaction Drake was expecting when he titled the album.

The Kid Frankie -Wiz Khalifa [Video]

I don't smoke ANYTHING.  I don't even drink Orange Juice. But I have a feeling I like might Wiz Khalifa's "Kush and OJ" mixtape.  I usually can't get into Stoner music because I can't relate, but I listened to some of the mixtape once and I liked the beats.  I like this song that he made a video for too. 



I'll have to give the mixtape another go around.  I typically don't listen to mixtapes more than once, sometimes twice at best, but I really need to sit down and vibe out to a few of them since I feel like I might be missing something good. Mixtapes can just be so annoying though because of DJ tags (do you really need to scream on the track) and the poor quality (I don't know a lot about audio, but I can definitely tell the quality difference between a mixtape and an album)  I'll give this one , T.I's "Fuck a Mixtape," and Chris Brown's and Tyga "Fan of a Fan" another go around and hopefully I have more summer music to enjoy.  Report back soon.
