I have pretty high expectations for the artists I listen to. A lot of times, stuff is so watered down and commercial when you know they could do sooo much better. And instead of accepting it, I usually complain about it to friends or on Twitter lol. But sometimes, and this rarely happens, I have nothing to complain about. That's how I feel about the "Over" video. Its perfect for the song, it even makes the song better. Its not the typical club video, but its not some bizarre Illuminati video just for shock value. I would best describe it as genuine and authentic. I feel like this is truly Aubrey "Drake" Graham, not Young Money or the guy enlisted to save Birdman's career. There no flashy outfits or bright YME signs. And there is not over exaggerated romance for the ladies. I think the video can be interpreted in different ways. What I took from it was in the beginning the images flashing in his body it was he's worried about with the fame. The other visuals or what is life is like now. But I think the female represents a girl in the past that didn't work out (maybe that Alicia girl he always mentions). And the random half naked girl dancing represents the temptation. I don't think that that was the focus of the video, which makes it strong. Yes, Drake moves his hands a lot in the video, as usual, but maybe that is his signature. I think the important thing that I took away from this video is that "So Far Gone" was not all that Drake's got in it, and he says it best "It's far from over."
