[Music Video Review] Carly Rae Jepsen - "Tonight I'm Getting Over You"

Carly continues her strong fight against not being a one hit wonder with her 3rd single "Tonight I'm Getting Over You."  A bit more dubstep than Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble" Carly sings about trying to get over a boy who she never had an official relationship with, but they had a connection that was full of promises.  In the video, Carly hangs out with her ombre blue nails and a wardrobe looking straight from the racks of Urban Outfitters first spending time with the boy, then pushing away from him, and then falling back into his arms.  I think the video and songs are a good depiction of those sticky relationships that aren't really relationships, but you are just as much invested.  Although the songs never references them getting back together, the video gives a nod that these things are cyclical and start up and end all the time.
